Who we are
TourneyWatch is a small independent website based in Los Angeles, CA. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].
The newsletter
If you join the watch, we store your email address and the games you picked (as tags, like “One Piece”) so we can send you the weekly email and alerts you asked for. Our email provider is Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores and sends the emails for us, along with standard details like when you signed up and whether an email was opened or clicked.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] and we’ll remove you, or delete your data entirely if you ask.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get visited. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across sites, and only gives us aggregate numbers (page views, countries, referring sites), not who you are. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical data like IP addresses to deliver the site and block attacks.
Affiliate links and partner cookies
Some links on TourneyWatch go to partners such as hotel booking sites (through Stay22), TCGplayer, eBay and other stores. If you click one, that partner may set its own cookies so they know the visit came from us and can pay us a commission if you book or buy. Those cookies are controlled by the partner under their own privacy policy, not by us. TourneyWatch itself doesn’t set advertising cookies. Tips you send us
If you send an event tip and include your email, we use it only to follow up about that tip.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal data. We don’t run third-party ad networks. We share data only with the services above that help us run the site, or if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have extra rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Kids
TourneyWatch is a general-audience site. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you think a child signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Big changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
