How to qualify for Lorcana Worlds
Set Championships and Local Qualifiers, Challenge Championship Qualifiers, and Challenge events feed regional Championships; Championship Top 8 historically earn Worlds invites.
The path
A simple ladder — start at step 1 and climb.
- Set Championships — Local game-store events in NA and EU.
- Local Qualifiers — Win a Local Qualifier for a Championship seat.
- Challenges & CCQs — Big open Challenges plus community CCQs that award Championship invites.
- NA / EU Championships — Invite-only fields built from Challenges, CCQs and LCQs.
- Worlds — Top finishers advance — 2027 date and venue not yet posted.
In plain English
For the ’26–’27 Season of Villainy, Ravensburger’s path runs through Disney Lorcana Challenges, Challenge Championship Qualifiers (CCQs), and new Local Qualifiers tied to Set Championships. Those routes fill regional Championship fields in North America and Europe. Official Championship materials for the prior season stated that Top 8 players at the NA and EU Championships qualify for the Season 2 World Championship. Season of Villainy continues that ladder; the 2027 Worlds date, venue and exact invite table are not fully posted yet.
What to do
- Local path (NA & EU)
Play Set Championships at your local store for a shot at a Local Qualifier. Win the Local Qualifier to earn a Championship seat.
- Challenges
Enter Disney Lorcana Challenge weekends. Strong finishes feed Championship qualification (exact cut sizes vary by event and region).
- CCQs
Challenge Championship Qualifiers are community-run, Ravensburger-supported events. First place earns a Championship invitation; some larger CCQs award more than one.
- Championships → Worlds
NA and EU Championships are invite-only (prior published mix: Challenges + CCQs + Last Chance Qualifiers). Top 8 at those Championships have been the published Worlds invite path — confirm on disneylorcana.com before you travel.
Unconfirmed / watch this
- 2027 World Championship date, city, format and total invite count are not yet announced on the official Challenge page.
- Exact Challenge → Championship cut sizes for every Season of Villainy stop should be verified on each event’s ticket page.
- CCQ and Local Qualifier programs are expanding beyond NA/EU (Japan, China, Asia, Brazil, Australia mentioned by community coverage); treat non-NA/EU details as incomplete until Ravensburger posts them.
